Visibility Disability 2025

logo

Developed an augmented reality finger tracking simulation to demonstrate how common eye conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts affect visibility during precise hand interactions. the simulation reveals peripheral vision loss (glaucoma), central blind spots (macular degeneration), and foggy/blurred distortion (cataracts) as users perform finger gestures—making abstract visual impairments tangibly visible to sighted observers, educators. This bridges the empathy gap by showcasing exactly conditions that disrupt fine motor tasks in real-world scenarios.
