I worked as a programmer on a 2D side-scrolling platformer in which the player controls a child exploring environments inspired by the early years of the State of Israel. The core gameplay revolves around locating missing puzzle pieces that reconstruct historical posters from Israel’s formative period, integrating archival content directly into the game mechanics. The project combined narrative exploration, platforming challenges, and educational elements, with a strong emphasis on historical authenticity and visual storytelling. The game was developed as part of a contest held by the National Library of Israel, where it was presented as an interactive way to engage younger audiences with cultural heritage and archival materials.
