I volunteered as a programmer and a modeller on a 3D virtual reality experience. The player assumes the role of an anxious individual attempting to navigate and board a train within a busy station environment. The experience was designed to immerse the player in the psychological challenges of anxiety through environmental cues, pacing, and interaction design. It was implemented for the Pico 4 headset and leveraged both eye-tracking and hand-tracking technologies to create natural, embodied interactions and to reinforce the sense of presence. The project focused on using VR as an experiential medium for emotional storytelling and empathy-driven design.
